Acer introduces a monitor with a built-in multimedia player, Internet browser and Wi-Fi support

The company Acer has made a device which combines the functionality of a PC, a digital photo frame and a screen because its a monitor with a built-in media player and Wi-Fi wireless internet support. This interesting 24-inch monitor is called the D241H.

The manufacturer promises that the Acer D241H will revolutionaze the way you use your computer monitor, because it can be used not only as a standard screen, but also as a device for browsing the Internet and multimedia file playback (.Avi , .Wmv, .Mp4, .Mov video format and .MP3, .wma, .wav format audio). Thus this monitor gives you a chance to check e-mail and read the news, without connecting it to a computer.

The monitor also has a built-in universal memory card reader, two USB ports, an Ethernet network jack and a wireless keyboard.

The screen resolution of the sceen of this monitor is 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD), Contrast ratio – 80 000:1, viewing angle – 170° (horizontal) / 160° (vertical), but brightness – 300 cd/m 2.

Unfortunately, it is not known when this device will arrive on store shelves, and what will be its price.
