Kia in his homeland South Korea presented its first production hybrid Kia Forte LPI. Compact sedan equipped with a 114 horsepower 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine, which is operated by LPG gas, and the electric motor, feeding on lithium-polymer batteries. The manufacturer promises that the CVT steplessly automatic transmissions will not exceed the average consumption of 4.7 liters of gas per 100 kilometers.

It should be noted that Kia vehicles are the worlds first series cars, which use advanced Lithium-polymer batteries, and that they will be used in the new Sonata hybrid, which promises to come to trade in the coming year. Forte, of course, also equipped with already existing technologies such as regenerative braking system and automatic start-stop system.

Simultaneously with the first batch of hybrid Kia also presented their new eco-brand eco-Dynamics, beneath which in future will be marketed in particular economic models, including hybrids. When the first Kia hybrid could reach Europe the manufacturer has not yet distributed information.
