Latvian CONEQ technology is now licensed to Hitachi Home Electronics America, Inc.

Real Sound Lab has finalized its first consumer electronics licensing agreement with Hitachi Home Electronics (America), Inc. for the incorporation of its loudspeaker equalization technology, CONEQ™, into a new line of Hitachi LCD HDTV sets available to the public in North America beginning in August 2009. CONEQ™ will be featured in 46- and 55-inch models of Hitachi’s UltraVision® Series with Full HD 1080p 120Hz picture quality.

CONEQ™ acoustic power equalization technology is the brainchild of Raimonds Skuruls and has been brought to the market by Real Sound Lab, headquartered in Riga, Latvia. CONEQ™ technology and its professional products have been repeatedly recognized through prizes and nominations. Real Sound Lab’s APEQ-2pro series of pro-grade acoustic power equalizers has received “The Most Innovative Product of the Year – 2008” award from Ministry of Economics of Latvia.
