LG BD270 Blu-Ray player review – Watch Blu-Ray with Full HD for just 119.99 U.S. dollars

Today Gadgetine.com reviews the LG BD270 Blu-Ray player which is a great choice for viewing HD content on your HDTV if you dont have much money to spend on buying a feature packed Blu-Ray player.

There is no doubt that HD videos on Blu-Ray discs are the future so if you dont already have a Blu-Ray player, then its finally time to buy one, especially since such devices are now available for just slightly over 100 U.S. dollars.

As we mentioned during the introduction, LG BD270 Blu-Ray player is a great choice if youre planning to buy yourself a budget class Blu-Ray player, because this device features great image quality and is really easy to use.

BD270 has HDMI, composite video, stereo audio, and coaxial digital audio outputs so you can connect it to any HDTV. The manufacturer has included a composite video cable in the standard package. Its nice because this means that the device is ready to use right away, but we strongly recommend you to also buy a HDMI cable to ensure a very high video and audio quality. As soon as you connect this device to a TV by using HDMI port, you can see that the colors are vibrant and the picture is crisp and of course also experience the great audio quality.

Of course the low price also means that this player has no Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection (and thus it also lacks BD Live and Netflix support), but on the other hand this Blu-Ray player supports 1080p resolution video playback, a wide range of audio standards (Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby True HD, and dts-HD Master Audio technologies), a front access USB port for convenient firmware updates and Blu-Ray Profile 1.1 with BD BonusView.

You should note that shis device noy only plays Blu-Ray discs, but also greatly enhances DVD disc image quality by using a quality upscaling technology. But the Blu-Ray discs of course will help you achieve the best image quality.

Pros:

+ Low price
+ Vibrant colors and crisp picture
+ Great audio quality
+ Good DVD disc image upscaling

Cons:

- No HDMI cable included
- Doesnt support BD-Live and Netflix

LG BD270 Blu-Ray player can be purchased online on newegg.com for $119.99.
