Valve confirms Steam for Mac, debuts in April

No surprise that Steam is one of greatest game platforms – it offers almost all games for Windows. Steam platform is made by Valve – publishers of Half-Life, Left 4 Dead and other great single and multiplayer games. Few days ago Valve confirmed that in April Steam will be available on Mac.

First games available for Steam users on Mac will be Valve produced games. Portal 2 will be available on PC and Mac at the end of this year.

One of the best features will be Steamworks – you can buy and play game on PC, but you can still download it for Mac. Game publishers will have to enable that feature, but Valve is sure that most of them will take advantage of it.
