Dell will offer business-class laptop with a wireless charger – Latitude Z

It seems that slowly the market for mobile appliances a new trend begins to emerge – a wireless charger. Recently, more and more into the sale of products with wireless chargers from which the best known so far, it seems, was the Pre Palm smartphone. Now the company Dell has created a product which the battery will be charged with the help of electromagnetic induction – Z Inspiron laptop.

Z Dell Inspiron laptop is so far slimmest 16-inch notebook, because its thickness is only 1.45 cm, and weight – 2.04 kg. Furthermore, this computers casing is made of magnesium alloy.

However, the essence of this notebook is the above-mentioned wireless charging. Like the Palm Pre viedtālrunim, and Z Inspiron laptop base are embedded coil, which, of course, is much larger than the Palm Pre event. Here it is noted that, in order to be able to enjoy the pleasures of wireless charging, the buyer for an additional $ 200 will buy a special inductive tripod. The manufacturer claims that this method of charging the battery in as quick as the usual method (by wire).

Wireless charging and not only that $ 200 worth of docking advantage – it will also serve as a wireless hub, as they will be able to connect a mouse, external monitor, printer, etc. peripheral devices. Information from the connected devices in the docking station will be transmitted to a laptop using a laptop-supported ultra broadband connectivity.

Like Dell Latitude Z can be proud of the two central processors: Intel ultra low voltage processor and the ARM central processing unit. Mostly will be used Intel processor, but the second processor will be used at times when users want to use the rapid-loaded Latitude-On operating systems (a light, Linux-based operating system, which can be loaded immediately after switching on the PC), which is for browsing the Internet and e-mail management. Since Latitude-On the operating system will be very simple, the manufacturer has chosen to run on ARM processor, which enables you to save battery resources.

Since today is a trendy touch screen, Dell Inspiron laptop will support EdgeTouch Z Technology – Sixteen-inch big screen right edge of the frame will be equipped with sensors that respond to touch, thereby allowing the use of the manufacturer selected shortcut.

Z Dell Inspiron notebook price will be around 2000 U.S. dollars, but the wireless docking station, as already mentioned, the user cost an additional $ 200.
