Intel finally presents the worlds fastest laptop processors – Core i7 with Turbo mode

Company Intel has finally presented the laptop specifically optimized Intel Core i7 series quad-core central processing unit. Since the number of foreign media before the official presentation of the processor was able to test them, the Internet has already appeared on the first mobile Intel Core i7 processor reviews, and all the media is unanimously recognized that the Intel quad-core processors as a laptop is very fast. Initially, customers will have to choose between 3 different mobile Core i7 processors, which would be priced starting from 364 dollars.

Like the desktop Core i7 processors provided, the mobile Core i7 processors (also known as Clarksfield processors) are designed for resource-intensive tasks (such as computer games and video processing).

Brand presented the three different mobile quad-core processors: Core i7-720QM 1.6 GHz (turbo mode up to 2.8 GHz), Core i7-820QM 1.73 GHz (turbo mode up to 3.06 GHz) and Core i7-920XM 2, 0 GHz (turbo mode up to 3.2 GHz). All mobile Core i7 processors are designed for 45-nanometer manufacturing process and works with 1333 MHz bus speed high. Core i7-720QM model has 6 MB of the second high-level (L2) cache, but the other two processors 2nd level cache volume is slightly higher – 8 MB.

These processors will work in standard mode with a relatively low clock frequencies (up to 2.0 GHz), however, moments when the user will need additional capacity, processor clock frequency, thanks to Intels Turbo Boost technology, will increase by up to 75 percent. CPU frequency will be regulated automatically depending on the energy consumption, processor temperature, and load kernel number. Moreover, thanks to Hyper-Threading technology, these quad-core processors capable of performing calculations at the same time 8 different operations yarn.

Producers such as Dell, Toshiba, Acer, Alienware and Hewlett-Packard has already announced that they will soon offer laptops with Intels mobile Core i7 processors. Meanwhile, Intel reported that the Core i7-720QM price will be 364 U.S. dollars, Core i7-820QM processor will cost 546 dollars, but the Core i7-920XM Extreme processor – 1054 dollars.
