You cant choose which laptop to buy? Or maybe you want to upgrade to a new one? Gadgetine.com is back with another buying – now especially for laptops. In this article we will tell you about main aspects of laptop, which you need to know before purchase.

Screen size

The screen size affects the size and weight of all laptop. The sizes of screen generally are divided into to three sections – 12.1″, 13.3″, 15.4″ and finally 17″. For example if you will use your laptop at home and wont carry it around, so better choice would be 17″ screen, and if you want to travel around with laptop, then choose 12.1″. Screen resolution affects the size of icons and text. For example, in 15″ screen with resolution 1280×800 all the details will look larger than on a same size screen with resolution 1440×900.

Storage

Mostly all the laptops comes with standard HDD. If you want to save movies or other large files in your device, than you need to choose a laptop with a large HDD, like ASUS G Series G72Gx-A1 which will be great for gaming too! For carry-around laptops its best to choose laptop with SSD drives, for example, SONY VAIO Z Series. Of course you can attach external hard drive to your laptop.

Performance – CPU, VGA and RAM

If you will work only in office applications, then you can buy cheap, low performance laptop, like Dell Latitude E5500. Laptops for gamers are much more expensive, for example, ASUS G Series G51J-3D, is equipped with latest Intel Core i7 central processor, 4 gigs of RAM as well as Nvidia GeForce GTX 260M graphics. This is a very high performance laptop, its a very good investment.

Battery

Laptops are designed for use them while running on batteries too. Our choice is Lenovo IdeaPad u350, which can run on battery for up to 8 hours. Of course, the SU series processor is not so fast as i7, but Windows 7 and office applications will run smoothly as well as Adobe Photoshop for example.
