Apple is now largest USA cell phone manufacturer

Seems kinda strange that Apple with 3 practically identical cell phone models can overtake Motorola in this market, but thats right, Apple is now number one!

In first quarter Motorola sold 8.5 million units while Apple – 8.8 millions. Four years ago, while Razr was very popular, Motorola managed to sell 46.1 millions in one quarter.

Now Moto is trying to focus on smartphones. This strategy is good, but very slow. In this years first three months they sold 2.3 millions smartphones.
