10000 Microsoft employees uses iPhone

Apple iPhone is one of the most popular mobile phone. The phenomenon of iPhone have even reached Microsoft headquarters – many Micorosft employees uses this phone.

10`000 iPhone users accessed Microsot`s employee e-mail system last year. It is about 10% of total company workforce. As you know, Microsoft and Apple are competitors, so these employees have to really hide their iPhone from senior executives. One Microsoft wore said, that he even know people who specially bought cases, so that iPhone`s look like more generic handsets.


“Approximately once a year I`m in a meeting with Steve Balmer, ” said employee. “And in this time I`m not answering my phone.”
